TOURS AND OPEN HOUSES

We want our families to feel comfortable with Manzano Day School as they go through the admission process, and offer a variety of ways to view the school.

We have two open houses each year. The first one is on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 from 9 - 11:00 a.m. and is an in-session open house held during the school day.  Prospective parents come to the school and tour the classrooms as classes are being held. The tours are given by current parents which gives prospective parents a chance to ask questions of our parents during the tour.

Our second open house is Sunday, November 14, 2010 from 2 - 4:00 p.m.  On this day, the teachers are in their classrooms and talk about their program. Tours for this open house are conducted by current parents and teachers.  It is not necessary to RSVP for either of these open houses.

Families who cannot attend either one of our open houses are welcome to call the Admission Office and schedule a tour at their convenience. The parents will be toured through the classrooms during the school day.

Prospective parents are welcome to attend any of the open houses as well as have a personal tour. As the family goes through the application process we have constant verbal and written communication with the parents. We want to make sure the child and their parents understand every step of the process. We are very committed to making the right choice for the family as well as the school and truly want a child to experience Joy in Learning® when they attend Manzano Day School.
