Full Time Openings

Director of the Extended Day Child Care Program

Manzano Day School has an opening for a Director of the Extended Day Child Care Program. This role includes program development and coordination of before- and after-school activities on campus, including child care and enrichment programs. The Director recruits, hires, and trains staff, manages a budget, tracks attendance, ensures safety standards and behavior expectations are met, and confers with parents as needed. This individual also provides support on campus during the school day and offers child care during the summer. The successful candidate must have strong organizational skills, creative ideas for developing the program, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Part Time Openings

Artistic/Creative Director

Manzano Day School has an opening for an artistic director for its musical theater production. Qualified applicants will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and show evidence of effectively working with children in a theater environment. This position is a part-time position, with 1-2 instructional hours some afternoons. The director will begin working with students mid January and continue through the first week of May. A successful candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills. Duties would include designing and implementing artistic elements, such as blocking and simple choreography, for a musical theater production with fifth grade students.
