Security Guard 

This position is a security guard who is a team member responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors at Manzano Day School. The security guard will enforce school policies and regulations, monitor premises for potential security threats, and respond to emergencies as necessary. This position is vital in safeguarding the school community and ensuring a positive learning environment. This position reports to our Security Supervisor. Elementary School Teacher

Manzano Day School is accepting applications for a full time elementary classroom teaching position in an independent school setting for the 2024-2025 school year. Excellent working conditions in a professional atmosphere; competitive pay and benefits. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of quality teaching in an educational setting and must either hold or be eligible for licensure for elementary education in New Mexico. Environmental Educator at Fenton Ranch in the Jemez Mountains 

Fenton Ranch is an environmental education facility located in a beautiful canyon in the Jemez Mountains 80 miles north of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Fenton Ranch offers many environmental education lessons and activities (hiking, fishing, exploring) that encourage youth, ages 4 to 11, to grow into environmental stewards. Fenton Ranch also encourages youth to grow as individuals by facilitating experiences that foster independence, self-confidence, and creative thinking. The mission of the Fenton Ranch program is to provide all students at Manzano Day School with yearly environmental education experiences. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead and facilitate a variety of environmental science lessons. 
  • Lead and facilitate various outdoor activities, such as hiking, archery, noncompetitive games, canoeing, birding, and nature journaling.
  • Complete logistical and maintenance requests as assigned.
  • Play, laugh and share in the joy of learning with very enthusiastic youth.

Position Dates:

  • Staff Orientation will be from April 1 - 5, 2024
  • Programming will take place between April 8 - May 17, 2024
