Manzano Day School offers a robust educational program in both Lower School (pre-k through 1st) and Upper School (2nd through 5th), providing students with the best opportunity for lifelong success. In addition to the core subject areas of language arts, mathematics, social studies, and science, there are five co-curricular subjects: library ed tech, music, physical education, Spanish, and visual arts. Each grade participates in service learning  projects to connect to the community beyond our school, and all students visit Fenton Ranch, our residential environmental education facility in the Jemez Mountains.

Our faculty is committed to ongoing professional development in order to further their knowledge and enhance their teaching skills. We regularly review curriculum, adhering to best practices and innovative pedagogy. At the heart of every child’s school experience is social emotional learning; building a community in which students are able to take risks and foster a growth mindset is fundamental. We invite you to explore our Curriculum at a Glance to learn more about each grade level.
