Join us for Open House and discover what makes Manzano Day School such a special place to learn and grow. Tour our campus, explore our classrooms and learning spaces, meet members of the Manzano community, and learn more about our programs and student experience. Submit the application, parent questionnaire, and $80 non-refundable application fee. Please apply online through our myManzano portal.

Note: Pre-kindergarten applicants must be 4-years-old (and potty-trained) by September 1 of the year they begin pre-k. Kindergarten applicants must be 5-years-old (and potty-trained) by September 1 of they year they begin kindergarten. 
 

Early Applicant Pool Deadline (sibling/legacy only) - November 2, 2026

The early applicant pool (pre-k and kindergarten) is limited to sibling and legacy applicants. They are required to apply in the early applicant pool (by November 2, 2026) to determine space availability. The definitions are as follows: 

Siblings:  Siblings of current or past Manzano Day School students
Legacies:  Children or grandchildren of past Manzano Day School students

Early applicants who have completed the admission process will be notified of an admission decision by December 18, 2026.

General Applicant Pool Deadline - January 4, 2027

The general application deadline is January 4, 2027. Pre-k and kindergarten applicants who have completed the admission process will be notified of an admission decision by February 5, 2027.  (*Please note that the last playdate to meet the general application deadline is January 9, 2027). 

Subsequent applications are accepted and reviewed on a rolling admission basis as space is available.

On selected Saturday mornings, a small group of applicants joins us for an informal classroom visit. These sessions allow our faculty to interact with the children and assess their developmental readiness for school. Playdates are approximately one hour and are scheduled once the application is submitted.

The individual assessment is a one-on-one play-based assessment that allows a member of the Admission Office to become acquainted with each applicant. It usually lasts 20 - 30 minutes and can be scheduled at your convenience Monday - Friday during the school day. The Admission Office will schedule individual assessments after the playdate. 

Please submit the following information in order to complete the admission process:

• Teacher Recommendation: In the myManzano portal, you may enter the email address of your child's former or current teacher. He or she will then receive a digital Teacher Recommendation Form to complete. 
   
• School Records: Please request your child's report card from the previous and current school years. In the myManzano portal, you may enter the email address of your child's current school registrar.

• Copy of Birth Certificate/Passport for age verification: A scan or photo of the certificate (or passport) can be uploaded to myManzano.
