What to Expect
The playdate has always been a wonderful way for our admission team and the pre-kindergarten/kindergarten teachers to learn more about our applicants in a fun, play-based classroom setting. Here are a few things to expect on the day of the playdate:
- Parents: Please plan to have at least one parent/adult accompany your child. Both parents are welcome, but not required, to attend. A small group of students will spend about one hour in a classroom with our teachers and then have a short recess outside. While the children are in the classroom, we ask that parents remain on campus for a short info session and the opportunity to ask questions.
- Health and Safety: The health and safety of our community are important to us and we appreciate your cooperation. Please be considerate and respectful of others. At this time, masks are not required, but always optional. If you or a member of your family is not feeling well, please err on the side of caution and stay home. Please email us (admission@manzanodayschool.org) and we will reschedule. Last minute cancellations are easily accommodated.
- Timing: Please plan to arrive a few minutes before the start of the playdate to check-in and get a name tag. At the conclusion of the playdate, you are free to depart.
- Parking: After entering the campus from Lomas, you may park in any of the spots closest to the main gate. A map has been provided below. (Please note, the Central Ave entrance/exit will be closed)
