Applications

September 1

The admission process begins a year in advance. We accept applications starting September 1 for the following school year. We will start accepting applications for the 2026 - 2027 school year on September 1, 2025. The admission process has several steps, and space is limited, so we encourage you to start early. Please contact the Admission Office for more information.

There is very limited availability for the 2025 - 2026 school year, so please contact us before submitting an application. Admission@manzanodayschool.org or (505) 243-6659.

The information below pertains to applicants to the 2026 - 2027 school year. 

Application Deadline for Sibling/Legacy Early Applicant Pool
(pre-k and kindergarten)

November 3, 2025

The early applicant pool (pre-k and kindergarten only) is limited to sibling and legacy applicants. They are required to apply in the early applicant pool (by November 3) to determine space availability. The definitions are as follows:

Siblings:  Siblings of current or past Manzano Day School students.
Legacies:  Children or grandchildren of past Manzano Day School students.

Early applicants who have completed all steps of the admission process by December 8 will be notified of an admission decision by December 19, 2025. 

General Applicant Pool
(pre-k and kindergarten) 

January 7, 2026 

The general application deadline is January 7. Pre-k and kindergarten applicants who have completed the admission process will be notified of an admission decision by February 6. Subsequent applications are accepted and reviewed on a rolling-admission basis, as space is available.

(1st - 5th grade) 

January 7, 2026 

The general application deadline is January 7. First through fifth-grade applicants who have completed the admission process will be notified of an admission decision by March 6, or as soon as a space is available. Subsequent applications are accepted and reviewed on a rolling-admission basis, as space is available.

Withdrawal Deadline

May 15, 2026

If you withdraw your child from the 2025 - 2026 school year on or before May 15, 2026, no tuition will be due. If you withdraw your child from the 2025 - 2026 school year after May 15, 2026, full annual tuition is due. Please contact the Admission Office for more information.
