Schedule and Bus Information

The school day begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 3:15 p.m. for Pre-K and Kindergarten, and 3:30 p.m. for Grades 1–5. Families are encouraged to arrive on time so students can start their day ready to learn. Late arrivals and early dismissals must be checked in or out through the Front Office to maintain safety and accurate attendance. For those needing care before school, the Extended Day program opens at 7:30 a.m., offering a calm and supportive start to the morning.

To ensure a smooth and efficient arrival and dismissal process, Manzano Day School utilizes a single traffic lane for drop-off and pick-up—fifteen minutes each morning and thirty minutes each afternoon. Staff members assist students as they exit or enter vehicles, helping parents move through quickly and safely.

Transportation is also available through two bus routes serving the northeast heights and west side communities. Each bus is equipped with lap and harness belts for student safety. Detailed route and schedule information is available in the Back-to-School section of myManzano.
