Perennial Math Club

Are you a 4th or 5th grade student who is interested in challenging math problems? Are you the kind of kid that loves to solve logic problems? Do you have DREAMS about MATH?

Well if you answered yes to any of those questions, you may want to join the Perennial Math Club! This math club is sponsored by Penny Ewell and Debbie Benton. Club members will learn a variety of problem solving techniques while sharing and exploring math concepts in a fun way. Then, each month they will participate in an online contest, competing with other students enrolled in the Perennial Math program.

The Perennial Math Club will be meeting every Tuesday night from 3:45-4:30 p.m. beginning Tuesday, November 7 through Tuesday, February 13. (Note: There will not be a meeting Tuesday, November 14 due to parent/teacher conferences scheduled that week.) Students who are not picked up from Perennial Math Club at 4:30 will be sent to Extended Day until their parents are able to pick them up from school.

Perennial Math is limited to 15 members. Students will be admitted to the club in the order requests are received-so respond soon so you can be sure to reserve your space! If more than 15 students request club membership, a waiting list will be established.
