June 7 - July 16, 2021
For students 3 1/2 to 11 years old
Due to COVID-19, Manzano Day School is keeping the health and safety of our community as our top priority and following health orders written by and for the State of New Mexico, including for Bernalillo County, and CDC guidelines. As a result, class size will be limited to ten students with restricted movement around campus as well as social distancing and masks required. Co-curricular teachers will visit individual classrooms to teach, and recesses will be staggered among classes. Students will stay with their smaller group and not intermingle with other classes. Students and faculty/staff will be screened daily prior to entering campus. Students will be picked up and dropped off through the carpool lane or front office. Visitors and guests will be limited.
The 2021 Summer Discovery program will meet daily from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm Monday - Friday for six weeks. A half-day program will also be offered this year and will meet from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm each day of the session. (If there is not enough demand for the half-day program, these classes may be canceled.)
This program will include reading, writing, math, science, movement and games, music, art, and more!
The full-day program cost is $985.00 and the half-day program cost is $750.00.
The availability of Extended Care will be determined closer to the session dates in accordance with the most recently published health orders and safety guidelines for the state of New Mexico and the CDC. If offered, Extended Care will be available from 8:00 to 9:00 am and 3:00 to 5:00 pm for an additional cost of $8.00 per hour.
Lunch service will be available for students enrolled in the full-day program through Rhubarb & Elliott. Cost for lunches is not included in tuition. Menus and ordering information will be provided to program participants. Full-day program students may also bring their own lunches. All students in both full-day and half-day programs will be responsible for providing their own snacks.
